The festive period represents the most significant time of the year for increased reports of domestic abuse incidents. Police Scotland's Domestic Abuse Campaign proactively targets perpetrators of domestic abuse to reduce the number of domestic incidents during the festive period and to also encourage reporting of abuse. Our partners Deafblind Scotland will be raising awareness and funds to support deafblind adults in Scotland through their annual Santa Dash. The dash takes place on 14th December at Mugdock Country Park, Milngavie. A Christmas Fayre and tree light switch-on will be taking place, with the option of participating in a 5km or 1km run. It's a great way to get some exercise in the lead up to Christmas and support a worthwhile cause.
